The evening will feature the talents of Diane Sutherland (The Light in the Piazza, She Loves Me) and Brian Sutherland (The Sound of Music, 1776, Victor/Victoria). Show time is 7 PM.

A Second Chance features book, music and lyrics by Ted Shen. Jonathan Butterell will direct the evening with musical direction by Joseph Thalken. Bruce Coughlin penned the orchestrations.

The new musical, according to the Joe's Pub website, "tells a compellingly adult love story that is unusually candid and revealing about the first year's emotional struggles faced by a widower and a divorcee who meet in mid-life. As the delight they find in each other shifts from a welcome respite to a vital part of every day, they are drawn toward the possibility of creating a new life together, something neither one knew if they would be fortunate enough to find again. Presented with the overwhelming challenge of freeing themselves from their painful pasts, will the couple endure?"

Joe's Pub is located within the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette. For more information visit www.joespub.com.
