News Actors' Equity Announces National Council Election Results Actors' Equity Association has announced the results of its May 21 National Council election for the union's eastern, central and western regions.

A total of 14 seats were open, nine of them in the eastern region, one central and four in the western region. Each elected member will serve a five year term.

Eastern council includes Nancy Slusser, Julia Breanetta Simpson, James Ludwig, Bob Knapp, Gil Rogers and Brian Myers Cooper, who will represent principal actors; while Francis Jue and Ronald L. Brown will represent chorus members; and Jason A. Quinn will represent stage managers.

For the central region, Mark David Kaplan will represent principals; and Western council results include Larry Cahn as a principal representative; Jennie Ford as chorus councilor; and Pat Loeb and D. Christian Bolender have been elected to represent stage managers.
