PlayBlog Adam Lambert, "Nine" on Tonight's AMA Awards Tonight's broadcast of the American Music Awards will feature a performance by Adam Lambert as well as what's being touted as a "first look" at the movie adaptation of the Tony-winning musical Nine.

Lambert, the former musical theatre performer who placed second in the most recent edition of "American Idol," will sing the title song from his upcoming debut CD, which hits stores Nov. 23.

There's no word about what will constitute the touted "first look" of the movie "Nine," but we bet it will be along the lines of the extended trailer that ran during the finale of "Project Runway" on Thursday night, perhaps introduced by some of the movie's high-profile stars.

The American Music Awards airs tonight – Sunday, Nov. 22 – on ABC at 8PM ET.
