The American Repertory Theater has assembled its company of divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, and survived queens who will take center stage in the upcoming presentation of Six.

The Boston-area run will feature Adrianna Hicks (The Color Purple) as Catherine of Aragon, Abby Mueller (Beautiful) as Jane Seymour, Andrea Macasaet as Anne Boleyn, Brittney Mack as Anna of Cleves, Courtney Mack as Katherine Howard, and Anna Uzele (Once On This Island) as Catherine Parr. Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert and Mallory Maedke will serve as the Alternate Queens.

All reprise their performances following the U.S. premiere of the musical at Chicago Shakespeare Theater (Courtney Mack succeeded Samantha Pauly June 25). Performances continue in the Windy City through August 4.

Performances will begin August 21 at the A.R.T.'s Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where opening night is set for August 24. Performances are scheduled through September 27.

In the Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss musical, the wives of Henry VIII take the mic to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse, transporting them from Tudor royalty to pop superstardom. The London production, directed by Moss and Jaime Armitage, earned five Olivier Award nominations including Best New Musical.

The staging also features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, sets by Emma Bailey, costumes by Gabrielle Slade, lighting by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Orchestrations are by Tim Curran, with Katy Richardson as music director and Joe Beighton as music supervisor.
