The evening, set to begin at 11:30 PM, will also feature Jonathan Cobrda. DeBose played Mary Wilson in Motown and understudied the role of Diana Ross — originated by Tony Award nominee LeKae, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Read the Playbill interview with LeKae here

"I could think of no better way to support Valisia then to donate to an organization that she's found helpful during her fight with ovarian cancer," DeBose previously told Playbill.com. "I also think there is great importance for women of all ages, about being proactive with your health so that you can hopefully 'type yourself out' and lower your risk of breast and ovarian cancer. You are never too young to take your health seriously."

A portion of proceeds from the concert will benefit Bright Pink, a non-profit organization that focuses on the risk reduction and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals.

Here’s how Typed Out is billed: "In an intimate cabaret setting, Ariana DeBose (Bring It On, Motown) defies limitations of gender, age and race…In collaboration with Benjamin Rauhala (music direction), Kurt Crowley (arrangements) and two-time Tony nominee Terrence Mann (creative consultant), Ariana investigates what it is to be ethnically ambiguous in a world that thrives on labels. Audiences can expect a variety of mash-ups, medleys and more!"

The band will feature Benjamin Rauhala, Matt Hinkley, Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf and Tim Keiper. Arrangements are by Kurt Crowley.   DeBose, who was a contestant on the reality television series "So You Think You Can Dance?," was also seen on Broadway as Nautica in Bring It On: The Musical.
