Feinstein’s/54 Below features the following events of interest to theatre folk the week of January 11–18:

January 11: Kim Maresca: Taking Off
The actor who co-starred in the Off-Broadway revival of Ruthless! makes her solo debut at this club with a program of standards, contemporary musical theatre, and pop, in a benefit for the NYC Gay Men’s Health Crisis. 7 PM.

January 11: Chorus Girls: A Drag Cabaret
Drag members of the NYC Gay Men’s Chorus sing show tunes about performing, auditioning, and living as gay men in New York in this benefit for their group. Hosted by Sasha Davenport and Ellia J. Garlands. 9:30 PM.

January 12–13: Matthew Morrison
The star of TV’s Glee and Broadway’s Finding Neverland, The Light in the Piazza, and other shows, returns to the cabaret stage with a retrospective of his career. 7 PM. Click here for details.

January 12: The Late Comet: Heath Saunders
The composer, actor, and multi-instrumentalist makes his 54 Below debut part of a series of appearances by cast members from the prematurely closed 2016 musical Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812. 11:30 PM.

January 13: Late Night Broadway
Broadway performers showcase selections from their solo nightclub shows. Tony Award nominee Eve Noblezada (Miss Saigon) will appear on the eve of her show’s closing. Two-time Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz (Falsettos, An American in Paris) will preview his concert of songs by composer William Finn. Teal Wicks (Finding Neverland), Brad Geer (The Bridges of Madison County), and Michael Mott will share songs from Mott’s album Abandoned Heart. 11:30 PM.

January 14: RJ Productions Presents The Bright Stars of Broadway
Bruce Vilanch hosts young Broadway stars in samples from their concert shows, including Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton), who will perform some of her signature songs as well as selections from her debut EP Fearless. Also on tap: Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies); Bobby Conte Thornton; Josh Young; plus the New York City debut of Scott Coulter’s Music of the Knights, starring Kelli Rabke, Blaine Kraus, Lorinda Lisitza, and Scott Coulter. 6:30 PM. January 14: The Skivvies: Here, There, and Underwear
The briefs-clad duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley will welcome Nick Adams, Jessica Vosk, Ryann Redmond, and other guest performers to their new cabaret show. 9:30 PM. Click here for details.

January 16: Barb Jungr & John McDaniel: Float Like a Butterfly—The Sting Project
Broadway arranger and orchestrator McDaniel teams with club singer Jungr for a salute to the composer of The Last Ship. 7 PM. Click here for details.

January 16: Jennifer Damiano: Unplugged
The actor-singer who starred in Next to Normal, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, American Psycho, and was featured in the original cast of Spring Awakening, performs an acoustic concert retracing her life and career. 9:30 PM.

January 17: Baby Dream Your Dream: Great Women Writers of the American Songbook
Emily Skinner, Kenita Miller, Margo Seibert, and Karen Ziemba are among talents who will pay musical tribute to Dorothy Fields, Mary Rodgers, Betty Comden, Jeanine Tesori, and other women composers of Broadway. Two shows: 7 and 9:30 PM. Click here for details.

January 18: Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens
Alice Ripley, Emily Skinner, Nick Adams, Nancy Opel, Lauren Molina, and Nick Cearley are among stage stars who perform the revue of songs by Janet Hood and Bill Russell inspired by the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. Two shows: 7 and 9:30 PM. Click here for details.
