News All Shook Up Tix On Sale Via Exclusive AmEx Offer, to Nov. 9 Tickets to All Shook Up, the upcoming new Broadway musical comedy driven by songs made famous by Elvis Presley, are currently on sale only to American Express card holders through the Gold Card Event program. A date for general phone sales has not been announced.

Playbill On-Line previously reported general phone sales would begin Sept. 26, but AmEx extended its special offer period to Nov. 9. For early ticket information, call (800) NOW-AMEX or visit ticketmaster.com.

Performances begin Feb. 20, 2005, at the Palace Theatre toward and opening of March 24.

The opening of the Palace box office, for walkup sales, has not been announced.

Initial casting was announced for All Shook Up in a Sunday New York Times ad. The new original musical comedy about a small town shaken awake by a mysterious, leather-jacketed stranger will feature Jarrod Emick, Jennifer Gambatese, Jonathan Hadary, Leah Hocking, Nikki M. James, John Jellison, Alix Korey, Mark Price and Sharon Wilkins, with Justin Brill, Paul Castree, Cara Cooper, Randy A. Davis, Jennie Ford, Curtis Holbrook, Cheyenne Jackson, Trisha Jeffrey, Michelle Kittrell, Anika Larsen, Michael X. Martin, John Eric Parker, Justin Patterson, Jenelle Lynn Randall, Michael James Scott, Jenny-Lynn Suckling and Virginia Woodruff. Additional names will be announced. Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change) fashioned the original libretto to All Shook Up.

Directed by Christopher Ashley, All Shook Up will receive its world premiere in Chicago in a five-week, pre- Broadway engagement at Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre, Dec. 21, 2004-Jan. 23, 2005. Ken Roberson is the musical's choreographer.

The score will include 24 legendary Elvis classics including "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don't Be Cruel," "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "All Shook Up."

Designers are David Rockwell (scenic), David C. Woolard (costume) and Donald Holder (lighting).

All Shook Up is produced by Jonathan Pollard, Bernie Kukoff, Clear Channel Entertainment, Harbor Entertainment, Stanley Buchthal and Miramax Films, in association with Eric Falkenstein, Nina Essman/Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Karen Jason and Barney Rosenzweig.
