Food Network celebrity chef Alton Brown has booked Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Thanksgiving Week for his live culinary show, Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science.

The host of Good Eats, Iron Chef America and other cable cooking shows, has been touring the U.S. with his “Eat Your Science” tour and has added Broadway as his New York stop, November 22, 23 at 8 PM; November 25, 26 at 2 and 8 PM, and November 27 at 1 and 5:30 PM.

Good Eats was unusual for a cooking show because Brown always paused to explain the science behind each of his cooking techniques. The live show apparently returns to that format.

Brown issued a statement saying the show will contain “all new everything including songs, new comedy, new puppets and bigger and better potentially dangerous food demonstrations. I can neither confirm nor deny that we've given the Broadway version of ‘Eat Your Science’ a distinctly Thanksgiving flavor, but wouldn't that be cool?"

He teased, “Plus, you’ll see things I’ve never been allowed to do on TV.”

Tickets go on sale July 21 at 10 AM ET via Telecharge.com, by phone at (800) 447-7400 or at the box office located at 243 West 47th Street.
