Tony nominees Norm Lewis, Rebecca Luker and Robert Fairchild, the New York City Ballet Principal Dancer currently starring on Broadway in An American in Paris, will perform as special guest artists at NYCB's 2015 Fall Fashion Gala Sept. 30.

The three artists will appear in NYCB’s revival of Peter MartinsThou Swell, which will also feature new costume designs by Peter Copping.

Thou Swell, which Martins choreographed to music by Richard Rodgers in 2003, "evokes the romance and glamour of a 1930s Manhattan supper club, with four couples, two singers, and more than 15 classic Rodgers songs performed by the 62-piece New York City Ballet Orchestra and on-stage jazz trio," according to press notes.

Lewis and Luker will perform the ballet’s musical numbers, which include such Rodgers classics as "Isn’t it Romantic," "The Lady is a Tramp," "Blue Moon," "Where or When" and the title song, "Thou Swell."

Fairchild, who has been on temporary leave from the NYCB Company, will perform the ballet with fellow NYCB Principal Dancers Sterling Hyltin, Rebecca Krohn, Sara Mearns, Teresa Reichlen, Jared Angle, Ask la Cour and Amar Ramasar.

In addition to the fall gala, Fairchild will also appear in two additional performances during NYCB’s 2015 Fall Season, when he will dance the role of the Hoofer in George Balanchine’s Slaughter on Tenth Avenue Oct. 3 at 2 PM and Oct. 7 at 7:30 PM. These three performances are the only dates that Fairchild is scheduled to dance with NYCB this fall.
