News AmEx Offers First Chance at Broadway Lestat Tickets Tickets to the Broadway run of Lestat are available prior to the general public sale via an American Express Card Events offer through Nov. 12.

The new Anne Rice-inspired musical with songs by Elton John and Bernie Taupin begins performances at the Palace Theatre March 11, 2006.

Tickets are $65-$100. AmEx card holders may call (800) NOW-AMEX or visit http://www.broadway.yahoo.com.

Tickets to the general public go on sale Nov. 13.

A pre-Broadway engagement plays San Francisco's Curran Theatre Dec. 17-Jan. 29, 2006. Tickets for that engagement go on sale Oct. 30.

Hugh Panaro will play the title vampire in the new musical, which has a book by Linda Woolverton, direction by Robert Jess Roth and musical staging by Matt West.
