News An Evening of Short Musicals to Play the Beechman The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within the West Bank Café, will offer An Evening of Short Musicals April 6, 13 and 20 at 7 PM.

Three brief musicals — all penned by students of New York University's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program — will be presented at each performance. The musicals include Erato Kremmyda and Sean Keogh's Playtime (featuring Randy Blair, Ben Kaplan and Kelly Felthous), Karlan Judd and Robin Share's Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington (featuring Brittany Cornelius, Randy Blair, Sam Pinkleton, Michelle Hernandez and Sonya Cooke) and Rob Broadhurst and Maggie Coleman's Momento Mori (featuring Lisa Asher, Miles Phillips, Courter Simmons and Eddie Varley). Phil Geoffrey Bond and Ryan Mekenian will direct An Evening of Short Musicals with musical direction by Ray Fellman and Sam Willmott.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located in Manhattan at 407 West 42nd Street. There is a $12 cover charge and a $15 food/drink minimum. Call (212) 695-6909 for reservations.
