Nora and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore - based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name - recently opened at the Westside Theatre with a starry cast that included Samantha Bee, Tyne Daly, Katie Finneran, Natasha Lyonne and Rosie O'Donnell.

The collection of vignettes and monologues uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that many women can relate to.

Recently extended into 2010, subsequent talent to take part in the rotating-cast performance will include Mary Birdsong, Lisa Joyce, Jane Lynch, Mary Louise Wilson, Kristin Chenoweth, Lucy DeVito, Capathia Jenkins, Rhea Perlman and Rita Wilson.

The Mamet-heavy New York theatre season extends beyond the two plays which represent him on the Broadway schedule.  The Atlantic Theater Company is presenting the aptly-named Two Unrelated Plays by David Mamet.

The performance consists of a pair of one act works.  The Ancient Rome-set Keep Your Pantheon follows the fortunes and misfortunes of an impoverished acting company on the edge of eviction. School, in its world premiere, is a brief comic discourse on recycling, poster design and the transmission of information.

Neil Pepe directs an ensemble that features Jeffrey Addiss, Michael Cassidy, Steven Hawley, J.J. Johnston, Jordan Lage, Brian Murray, Rod McLachlan, John Pankow, Jonathan Rossetti, Jack Wallace and Todd Weeks.
