News Anderson, Ferland, Collella, Kitt and More to Take Part in Broadway Street Fair The upcoming Third Avenue Community Street Fair, scheduled to take place on Sept. 9, will host a theatrical block party offering the best of Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre, featuring performances and special events.

The street fair will run from 66-86th streets in Manhattan, dedicating the entire city block of 73-74th streets to the best of New York theatre. Among the performers scheduled to take part in the event are Jim Caruso, host of Broadway at Birdland; the cast of Altar Boyz; Emily Swallow and Jon Patrick Walker (High Fidelity Like Love for NYMF); Danielle Ferland (Into the Woods, Like Love for NYMF); Nancy Anderson (A Class Act); Jenn Colella (High Fidelity); singer-songwriters Amanda Green and Tom Kitt (High Fidelity); Nightlife Award winner Scott Coulter; and "The Broadway Boys," including Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Maurice Murphy (Spelling Bee), Daniel Torres (The Pirate Queen), Michael James Scott (Mamma Mia!), Peter Matthew Smith (Hairspray), and Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz). Performances will take place from 12-4 PM.

Theatre lovers will also be able to take advantage of various contests, games and special offers presented by numerous New York theatre companies, including the Roundabout Theatre, the Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, the Vineyard Theatre, the Zipper Factory, HERE Arts, Watson Adventures, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, Opera on Tap, Broadway Unplugged, Awesome 80s Prom, Actors' Theatre Workshop, the Labyrinth Theatre, The New Group, the Prospect Theater, the Vital Theatre and Ma-Yi Theatre Company.

The Sept. 9 Third Avenue Street Fair begins at 11:30 AM and continues until 5:30 PM, between 66-86th Streets in Manhattan.
