News Andrea Frierson and Phoebe Strole Will Lead Premieres' Inner Voices; More Creative Team Announced Premieres, whose mission is "to bring new music theatre to light," has announced casting and further creative teams for their Inner Voices series – their biannual solo works festival featuring two teams of playwrights and composers – including New York stage vets Andrea Frierson and Phoebe Strole.

Performances of both projects begin Oct. 4 at 3 PM at The TBG Theatre (312 W. 36th Street).

Official opening is Oct. 11 at 8:00 PM with performances continuing through Nov. 1.

In press notes, Paulette Haupt, artistic director, describes the solo shows as, "two intimate explorations of loss, courage and triumph."

"The Other Room is a moving and often humorous solo piece celebrating the power of friendship and political engagement in the midst of the AIDS crisis. Lena reflects on her profound love for her friend Steve at a critical point in their relationship when he becomes seriously ill. Libretto by Campbell and score by Michelson."

The design team for Inner Voices is comprised of: Reid Thompson (sets/costumes/props), Oliver Wason (lighting), Jacob Subotnick (projections) and Jon Carter (wigs).
