"Andrea Marcovicci Sings Rodgers & Hart" (Andreasong label) features arrangements by musical director/pianist Shelly Markham. Marcovicci is also backed by Kevin Axt on bass. Song titles include such R&H standards as "My Funny Valentine," "Thou Swell" and "My Heart Stood Still" as well as rarities like "Jupiter Forbid," "If I Were You" and "Can't You Do a Friend a Favor?" The recording was produced by Markham and Lesley Alexander.

Marcovicci will also offer a special free in-store concert and CD signing Nov. 20 at 5:30 PM at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center (1972 Broadway at 66th Street). In addition to Rodgers and Hart songs, the evening will also feature tunes from the Andreasong CD "Kurt Weill in America." Maude Maggart, Jeff Harnar, Barbara Brussell and Anna Bergman, who are heard on the Weill recording, will join Marcovicci for the in-store performance.

Her screen credits include roles in "The Front," "Someone to Love," "Jack the Bear," "Who Is Henry Jaglom?," "The Water Engine" and "Trapper John, M.D." It has been the cabaret stage, however, where she has received the most acclaim. The singer-actress has performed at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and in concert halls throughout the world. Her solo albums are numerous and include "Marcovicci Loves Movies," "What Is Love?," "Just Kern," "December Songs," "New Words," "Live from London" and "Some Other Time."
