Others scheduled to be part of the celebration are singer-actress Dame Cleo Laine, violinist Tamsin Little, cellist Jiaxin Cheng, soprano Danielle de Niese and conductor-composer Eric Whitacre. The latter's new work, commissioned especially for this evening, will receive its world premiere.
Julian Lloyd Webber will also perform "Benedictus," which was composed by his late father, William Lloyd Webber.
