PlayBlog Andrew Lloyd Webber Talks Phantom With Piers Morgan (Video) Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera will soon celebrate its 25th London anniversary with a fully-staged production that will play three performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall Oct. 1-2. Here, Lloyd Webber sits down with Piers Morgan to talk about the success of the hit musical—a preview to the full interview airing July 1 at 9 PM ET on CNN.


The anniversary production of Phantom will star Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess as the Phantom and Christine, who originated the same roles in Lloyd Webber’s Phantom sequel, Love Never Dies, and have also previously played them in Phantom in London and Las Vegas, respectively.

The company will also include Barry James as Monsieur Firman, Gareth Snook as Monsieur André, Liz Robertson as Madame Giry and Wynne Evans as Piangi. Produced by Cameron Mackintosh, the production will be directed by Laurence Connor with musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne.
