The previously announced Ben Edelman, Andrew Garman, Jessica Hecht, and Sally Murphy complete the cast. Daniel Aukin directs.

Admissions, a new play about the ideals and contradictions of liberal white America, will begin performances as planned February 15 in the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Opening night is set for March 12.

In Admissions, Hecht and Garman play a couple working at the helm of an exclusive school—one as the head of the admissions department, the other as Headmaster. When their only son, played by Edelman, sets his sights on an Ivy League university, their own progressive values begin to clash with his personal ambitions.

The production will have sets by Riccardo Hernandez, costumes by Toni-Leslie James, lighting by Mark Barton, and sound by Ryan Rumery.

Harmon’s plays include Significant Other, which transferred to Broadway, Bad Jews, and Skintight, which will premiere this season at Roundabout Theatre Company starring Idina Menzel. Admissions is the recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award.
