News Ann Miller Is 'Too Darn Hot' in San Francisco 'Kiss Me Kate' Benefit July 26 Ann Miller, who seduced every "Tom, Dick and Harry" in the original film version of "Kiss Me, Kate," will be on hand for a July 26 screening of the 3-D version of the classic musical at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. Ann Miller, who seduced every "Tom, Dick and Harry" in the original film version of "Kiss Me, Kate," will be on hand for a July 26 screening of the 3-D version of the classic musical at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The talk with Miller and the screening will benefit SURVIVE AIDS.

Miller plays Bianca in "Kiss Me, Kate," showing off the dance talent that made her an MGM star in the 1940's and 1950's. Still performing today, she most recently appeared in David Lynch's "Mullholland Drive." Miller will discuss her lengthy career on screen and on stage with Jan Wahl.

Added entertainment will come from a tap tribute by Matthew Martin and Connie Champagne performing as Judy Garland.

The Castro, named for the street from which the world-famous San Francisco gay neighborhood takes its moniker, is a renovated art deco theatre from 1922 which normally runs a classic and art film repertory. The theatre's sign, as visible as the neighborhood's giant rainbow flag, is the Castro district's main landmark.
