The Colorado-raised stars will boost the April 30 benefit concert for the Denver Actors Fund.

Just a week after she wraps up her Broadway run in Sunday in the Park With George, Annaleigh Ashford will head west to her hometown of Denver to take part in United in Love, a fundraising concert for the Denver Actors Fund, April 30 at the Lone Tree Arts Center in that city.

Ashford, a 2015 Tony Award winner for You Can’t Take It With You, will be appear alongside more than a dozen local Denver artists, plus Colorado-raised fellow Broadway performers Beth Malone (a Tony nominee for Fun Home), Mara Davi (Irving Berlin's White Christmas), and Andy Kelso (Kinky Boots). Also scheduled to perform: Jodie Langel (Les Misérables), Emmy Award-winning composer Denise Gentilini (I Am Alive), and Denver's First Lady, Mary Louise Lee.

Local TV reporter Eden Lane and actor Steven Burge will serve as emcees. Local talent taking part include Jimmy Bruenger, Eugene Ebner, Becca Fletcher, Clarissa Fugazzotto, Robert Johnson, Daniel Langhoff, Susannah McLeod, Chloe McLeod, Sarah Rex, Jeremy Rill, Kristen Samu, Willow Samu, Thaddeus Valdez, and the casts of both The Jerseys and an upcoming student production of 13 the Musical.

The Denver Actors Fund is a non-profit organization established in June 2013 to provide immediate relief when members of the Denver theatre community find themselves in “situational medical need.” To date, the fund has distributed about $62,000 to help recipients with medical/dental bills, insurance, co-payments, supplies, etc. Volunteers also run errands, provide rides, meals, child care, construction, pet-sitting, and personal company.
