According to a production spokesperson, Arden "has been performing through the scheduled critics performances this week with a severe case of the flu" and will not perform at either the matinee or evening show [Oct. 25] "in the hopes that he will be well enough to perform for the [Oct. 26] opening night." Standby Jason Wooten will perform the role (for the first time) at both performances.

Wooten has been previously seen on Broadway in The Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose and Dance of the Vampires. He also appeared in the American premiere of We Will Rock You in Las Vegas.
