Puppeteer Twist, whose designs are currently bringing the dark magic of The Addams Family to life on Broadway, will reunite with drag artist Arias for the world premiere of Z Chromosome, running Sept. 23-Oct. 9. Added to the mix is designer Manfred "Thierry" Mugler, who will design and direct the piece described as "a double helix of aural and visual delight" that will be a "totally over-the-top, brand-new theatrical concert."

Twist and Arias earned acclaim for their first collaboration Arias With a Twist, which played a seven-month run in New York and toured internationally. Mugler also rendered designs. That production is also the subject of a new documentary film.

Tony-nominated Hair and Passing Strange choreographer Armitage will present Think Punk Oct. 17. With her company Armitage Gone!, the choreographer will remount her 1981 piece Drastic Classicism for the free event.

Bond, who made his Tony-nominated Broadway debut has half of Kiki & Herb, will offer Christmas Spells Dec. 8-18. The gender-bending holiday-themed work promises "a ribald evening of singing, storytelling, and spectacle."

Also on the bill are Guggenheim Fellow Richard Maxwell, who will stage the premiere of Christina Masciotti's Vision Disturbance Sept. 1-18. The work is described as "a play about a woman who loses her husband – and the vision in one of her eyes." Downtown icon, actress and performance artist Ann Magnuson will team with Adam Dugas for a musical battle (with two harpists) entitled Dueling Harps Oct. 14-16.

Guggenheim Fellow and Bessie Award winner Miguel Gutierrez will stage Samuael Topiary's Landscape with the Fall of Icarus Nov. 11-20. Topiary wrote and will perform the "fugue on the intertwining trajectories of history, empire, and recklessness, refracted through projections, music and sock puppets."
