News Ars Nova to Celebrate Music of Andrew Lippa Nov. 22 Tony Award-nominated Addams Family composer Andrew Lippa will offer an evening of his music as a benefit for Ars Nova theater Nov. 22 in Manhattan.

The 7 PM benefit will offer fans a "behind the music" style event, in which Lippa will present favorite songs and previously unheard material. A host of Broadway performers are currently being lined up to join the composer.

Addams Family musical director Mary Mitchell-Campbell will musical direct the concert.

Lippa earned a Tony Award nomination for the score to The Addams Family. He has also penned the musicals The Wild Party, john & jen, A Little Princess and additional songs for the Broadway production Youʼre A Good Man, Charlie Brown. He is currently at work on the new musical The Man in the Ceiling for Disney Theatrical.

Lippa served as an artist-in-residence at Ars Nova and co-founded the emerging composer series Uncharted. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Ars Nova's programming and development initiatives.
