News Asian-American Broadway Actors to Sing from Producers, Gypsy, Piazza and Company A host of top talent will take part in Changing the Stats: Asian Americans on Broadway Nov. 2 at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space. The evening will offer excerpts from dream roles not traditionally cast with Asian-American actors.

The 7 PM concert will feature tunes from The Producers (featuring Raymond J. Lee, Herman Sebek, Devin Ilaw and Emily Hsu); The Light in the Piazza (featuring Ali Ewoldt, Josh Dela Cruz and Christine Toy Johnson); Company (featuring Jose Llana, Pearl Sun, EJ Zimmerman, Joanna Carpenter, Ewoldt and Ilaw) and Gypsy (featuring Ann Harada, Alan Ariano, Albert Guerzon, Zimmerman and Carpenter).

The concert is directed and staged by Rommy Sandhu, Marc Oka and Christine Toy Johnson. Music direction is by Ming Aldrich-Gan.

The evening is sponsored by the Equal Employment Opportunity Committee of Actors’ Equity Association and ReImagined World Entertainment, via Theatre Authority.

This concert is made possible in part with public funds from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
