Ato Blankson-Wood, recently seen in the hit New York Theatre Workshop production of Slave Play by Jeremy O. Harris, will return to the Off-Broadway venue this month for a one-night-only benefit reading of Caryl Churchill’s A Number. He joins the previously announced Daniel Craig in the Sam Gold-helmed reading on March 10.

Blankson-Wood will play Bernard 1, Bernard 2, and Michael, opposite Craig as Salter in Churchill's two-hander. The one-night-only event reunites Craig and director Gold after the acclaimed and sold-out run of Othello at NYTW in 2016.

The reading, set for 7 PM, is part of a slate of programming celebrating NYTW’s 40th anniversary. The play made its American premiere at NYTW in 2004, marking just one of eight collaborations between playwright Churchill and the downtown theatre.

Tickets for the benefit are now on sale.
