News Auntie Mame Reigns at North Coast Rep Through July 26 Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's madcap comedy, Auntie Mame, which opened the Solana Beach, CA, North Coast Repertory Theatre's 1998-99 season June 11, will conclude its run on July 26. North Coast's new Artistic Director Sean Murray directs Sandra Ellis-Troy in the title role.

Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's madcap comedy, Auntie Mame, which opened the Solana Beach, CA, North Coast Repertory Theatre's 1998-99 season June 11, will conclude its run on July 26. North Coast's new Artistic Director Sean Murray directs Sandra Ellis-Troy in the title role.

Lanford Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning Talley's Folly (Aug. 6-Sept. 13) will follow. The work is the second in Wilson's Talley family trilogy and examines the course of love between Sally Talley and Matt Friedman.

Bernard Pomerance's Tony-winning tale of conformity and tolerance, The Elephant Man, fills the third slot (Sept. 24-Nov. 1).

Another Pulitzer Prize winner, Alfred Uhry's Driving Miss Daisy (Nov. 12-Dec. 27), is North Shore's fourth offering. Next in line is Ron Campbell in Carol Wolf's one-man show The Thousandth Night. In the production, Campbell plays 38 characters, each with a tale to tell.

The season concludes with Neil Simon's first success, Come Blow Your Horn (Feb. 25-Apr. 11), and Beth Henley's Abundance (Apr. 22-May 30). The latter is a tall tale set in the West about two mail-order brides who find their lives leading in opposite directions. For information on any of the above productions, call (888) 776-6278.
