News   Austin Lysy to Star in Public's Midsummer Night's Dream
Austin Lysy will be part of the upcoming Shakespeare in the Park presentation of A Midsummer Night's Dream presented by the Public Theater.

A spokesperson for the actor confirmed Lysy will play Lysander in the production, which will run Aug. 7-Sept. 9; further casting is currently underway. Daniel Sullivan (Rabbit Hole, Proof) will direct.

Lauren Ambrose, Oscar Isaac and Camryn Manheim currently star in Shakespeare in the Park's Romeo and Juliet under the direction of 2007 Tony Award nominee Michael Grief, running through July 8. The official opening is June 24.

Performances of Shakespeare in the Park are Tuesday through Sunday at 8 PM. Tickets are free and are available on the day of the performance (two per person) at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park beginning at 1 PM and at The Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street (near Astor Place), from 1-3 PM.
