On Monday, Sept. 13 Foa will step into the "Broadway Spotlight" for his debut solo concert. Show time is 8 PM. The series presents concert evenings with stars of the musical theatre. Previous concerts have spotlighted the talents of Avenue Q's Ann Harada and John Tartaglia, Dance of the Vampires' Max von Essen, Les Miz’s Lauren Kennedy, Hairspray's Shoshana Bean, Into the Woods' Chad Kimball, Aida's Felicia Finley, Rent's Anthony Rapp, Wicked's Idina Menzel and Funny Girl’s Leslie Kritzer. Barrett Foa, who made his Broadway debut in Mamma Mia!, recently took part in the all-star Children of Eden benefit concert. His other theatrical credits include Godspell and Just So. Foa, a graduate of the University of Michigan's Musical Theatre Department, also understudies the roles of Princeton and Rod in Avenue Q.
