News Avenue Q's Tartaglia Nominated for a Relly Award John Tartaglia, a recent Tony nominee for his performance in the Tony winning musical Avenue Q, can add another honor to his ever-growing list.

The Theatre World Award winner has been nominated for a Relly, the tongue in-cheek awards distributed by the "Live with Regis and Kelly Show." Tartaglia and his Regis puppet (designed by Rick Lyon) were nominated in the "Best Regis" category for his recent impersonation of co-host Regis Philbin: Tartaglia's competitors include Darryl Hammond, Dana Carvey, Tom Hanks, Dr. Frank Zizza, Kevin Pollack, Ben Affleck and Philbin himself.

Other Relly categories include Favorite Music Guest, Best Dressed, Best Junior Achiever, Best Dance Performance, Funniest Guest, Best Host Chat, Most Touching Moment, Best Reality Guest, Best Audience Winner, Best Wild & Wacky, Best Show and Best Guest Co-Host. The nominees in the latter category include Joy Philbin, Mark Consuelos, Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin, Ben Affleck and Whoopi Goldberg.

John Tartaglia is currently making his Broadway debut in Avenue Q. He appeared in the Children of Eden benefit concert and in the City Center Encores! presentation of Carnival. His TV credits include eight seasons on "Sesame Street" as well as "Animal Jam," "Bear in the Big Blue House" and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Tartaglia was also recently seen in the Empty-Handed concerts at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

The Second Annual Relly Award winners will be announced Sept. 24. Those interested can vote during the week of Aug. 30 by visiting www.rellyawards.com.
