News Ayckbourn's Damsels Comes to London's Duchess Theatre

Sir Alan Ayckbourn's "Damsels in Distress" trilogy — GamePlan, FlatSpin and RolePlay — will arrive at the Duchess Theatre on Sept. 4, will officially open (all three on the same day, as with the Tom Stoppard's trilogy, The Coast of Utopia, at the National on Aug. 3) on Sept. 7 and will then play there in repertory together.

Sir Alan will direct the plays (set in a Docklands flat) himself. The designer is Roger Glossop. Long-time Ayckbourn producer Michael Codron will be joined in presenting the plays by Lee Dean, Michael Linnit, David Ian for Clear Channel Entertainment and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
