The Fred Ebb Award-winning composer/lyricist promises a series of songs "about strange taxi rides, boy detectives, and the beauty of finding yourself a little bit lost." Performers include Stanley Bahorek (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Deborah Craig (...Spelling Bee), Cait Doyle (2009 MAC Award winner), Jared Gertner (...Spelling Bee), Leah Horowitz (Les Miserables, La Cage aux Folles), Steve Kazee (110 in the Shade, Spamalot) and Kate Wetherhead (...Spelling Bee, Legally Blonde).

Ordinary Days, Gwon's musical about four young New Yorkers, will make its Manhattan debut Oct. 2 in an intimate production by Roundabout Theatre Company. The musical, directed by Marc Bruni, will play the 62-seat Black Box Theatre below the Laura Pels Theatre within the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre on West 46th Street.

Gwon's Ordinary Days had its world premiere at Pennsylvania Centre Stage and its U.K. premiere at the Finborough Theatre in London. He is currently working on an original musical with playwright Sarah Hammond, commissioned by Broadway Across America, and an adaptation of Joe Meno's "The Boy Detective Fails," commissioned by Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA. Gwon was a 2006-07 musical theatre fellow at the Dramatists Guild and is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
