Classic Arts News Baltimore Symphony Offers 15-Cent Tickets The Baltimore Symphony is commemorating the ninetieth anniversary of its first concert by offering 15-cent tickets, the price that the inaugural audience paid, reports the Baltimore Sun.
The catch is a $90 donation to the BSO's Anniversary Fund. Apart from the required contribution, patrons can only purchase four tickets at the 15-cent rate, and for a specific list of concerts at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Purchases must also be made between February 10 and 12.

But for those willing to donate to the fund, the 15-cent ticket will buy the best seats available (excluding premier orchestra and box seats) for the specified concerts, which include several programs conducted by music director Yuri Temirkanov in March.
