News Barrett Foa Will Be Part of Holiday Road: The Soundtrack of John Hughes in Los Angeles Stage and screen actor Barrett Foa will help kick off the new Los Angeles "For the Record" concert series when he appears in For the Record: The Soundtrack of John Hughes Dec. 18 at BARRE vt.

The 9 PM concert, which will bring to life songs and scenes from the classic John Hughes films of the 1980s, will also feature Chris Mann, Stevie Mackey, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Dionne Gipson, Tinuke Oyefule, Derek Klena, Ben Caron, Trey Campbell, Sasha Wexler, Danielle Sadd, Steve Mazurek, Wyatt Fenner, Sheila Karls and Joanna Strapp.

Chris Bratten and Shane Scheel conceived the event.

Hughes films that will be referenced include "Home Alone," "Christmas Vacation," "Miracle On 34th Street" (1994 remake), "The Breakfast Club," "Sixteen Candles," "Pretty In Pink," "Planes Trains and Automobiles," "Uncle Buck," "She's Having A Baby" and "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off."

Foa, who starred on Broadway in Avenue Q and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, is currently a regular on the CBS series "NCIS: L.A."
