Opening the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage in June is the landmark Broadway musical On the Town, the tale of three sailors on 24-hour shore leave in New York City, with music by Leonard Bernstein, book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, based on an idea by Jerome Robbins.

Inspired by Robbins' ballet Fancy Free, On the Town's score includes "Lucky To Be Me," "New York, New York," "Lonely Town," "I Can Cook, Too" and dance pieces including "Coney Island Ballet."

Casting will be announced at a later time.

In August at the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, BSC will stage its first-ever Shakespeare play, Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Julianne Boyd and starring BSC veteran actors Christopher Innvar, Gretchen Egolf and Mark H. Dold. The love story of Beatrice (Gretchen Egolf) and Benedick (Christopher Innvar of BSC's A Streetcar Named Desire and The Importance of Being Earnest) — who engage in a "merry war" of witty insults — is set against a darker story of intrigue and deceit featuring the Don John (Mark H. Dold, of BSC's Freud's Last Session and The Importance of Being Earnest), an illegitimate half-brother of the prince.

Another drama will be announced for the season. Four titles on the smaller St. Germain Stage will be announced.
