The series has run on the BBC and BBC America for three seasons, with the most recent ending in 2009. It is known that Eve Myles will reappear in the new season as fellow team member, Gwen Cooper, but the rest of the cast has not been announced.
Barrowman has appeared in La Cage aux Folles, A Few Good Men, Sunset Boulevard, The Fix and Anything Goes in London, Sunset Boulevard and Putting It Together on Broadway, and Company at the Kennedy Center in Washington. His television credits include “Doctor Who,” in which he created the character of Captain Jack Harkness, and a recent guest appearance on “Desperate Housewives.”
