Goldberg will debut with the group at a concert on March 21 at Juilliard's Paul Hall.

Currently the principal bassoonist of the New York City Opera, Goldberg previously served as associate principal bassoonist of the New York Philharmonic. He has appeared as a guest artist with many orchestras and festivals, as well as such pop musicians as James Taylor and Joni Mitchell. He teaches in Juilliard's pre-college division and at Mannes College, the Hartt School of Hartford, and Columbia University. Starting this year, he will teach at the newly created Bard College Conservatory.
