Cast members Jason Tam, Will Roland, Stephanie Hsu, and songwriter Joe Iconis share a behind-the-scenes look at the Broadway-bound musical.

Be More Chill, the new Joe Iconis-Joe Tracz musical about an average high school teenager who swallows a pill-sized supercomputer that promises to make him cool, arrives on Broadway February 13 after a hit Off-Broadway run last summer.

Songwriter Iconis (Smash, The Black Suits, Things to Ruin) makes his Broadway debut with the production alongside book writer Tracz. The musical, based on the 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini, gained an online cult following after its 2015 premiere at Two River Theatre.

In the video above, the cast of Be More Chill—including Will Roland, Jason Tam, and Stephanie Hsu—give a sneak peek from rehearsals for the Broadway transfer.

They are joined by Iconis, Tracz, as well as director Stephen Brackett and choreographer Chase Brock, who share how they are expanding and re-exploring their work for the Broadway premiere.
