News   Bee's Ferguson and Amour's Gets Set for Out on Stage Benefit
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Malcolm Gets will be part of Out on Stage, an upcoming benefit for the New York City Gay Men's Chorus.

The May 8 gala fundraiser will be held in the lobby of the American Airlines Theatre's penthouse. The evening is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction, followed by the 8 PM live performance. Ferguson and singer-songwriter Dar Williams are scheduled to be part of the evening's entertainment, which will be followed by a live auction hosted by Gets and "Adam & Steve" star Craig Chester.

Auction items include 75 vacation, theatre and spa packages as well as many celebrity collectibles.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, currently on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee has also been seen onstage in On the Town, Little Fish, Where Do We Live, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, newyorkers, The Most Fabulous Story Every Told and the City Center Encores! mounting of Hair. His television credits include "Sally Hemings: An American Scandal" and "Absolutely Fabulous."

Malcolm Gets was most recently on Broadway in the short-lived Michel Legrand musical Amour. His other New York theatre credits include Finian's Rainbow, The Molière Comedies, Boys and Girls, A New Brain, Hello Again, Merrily We Roll Along, Two Gentlemen of Verona and the City Center Encores! productions of The Apple Tree and The Boys From Syracuse. He spent four years as Richard on TV's "Caroline in the City," and his other screen credits include "Thirteen Conversations About One Thing" and "Love in the Time of Money." Gets can be heard on Barbara Cook's "Mostly Sondheim" CD and can be seen in the new romantic comedy "Adam & Steve."
