News Ben Chaplin, Idris Elba and Megan Dodds to Star in Donmar’s This Is How It Goes Megan Dodds, Ben Chaplin and Idris Elba have all signed on for the London premiere of Neil LaBute’s This Is How It Goes at the Donmar Warehouse.

Dodds and Ella play an interracial couple in love, Chaplin an old friend who appears and threatens their relationship. The show, set to be directed by Moises Kaufman, is scheduled to begin performances May 31.

Megan Dodds is an increasingly busy actress on both stage and screen. Prior to her Donmar stint, she will be seen in the Royal Court’s My Name Is Rachel Corrie. However, she is familiar to many British TV viewers for her role as CIA liaison officer Christine Dale in the hit series “Spooks.”

Ben Chaplin also has a screen profile, thanks to roles in such movies as “The Truth About Cats and Dogs” (which saw Uma Thurman and Janeane Garofalo fighting over him) and “The Thin Red Line.” He made his stage debut at the age of 16 and has combined theatre with movies ever since, enjoying particular success as Tom Wingfield in Sam Mendes’ 1995 staging of The Glass Menagerie.

British-born Idris Elba is well-known in the U.S. for his role as Russell ‘Stringer’ Bell in TV’s “The Wire” and for the HBO TV drama, “Sometimes in April.” His stage credits include Sir Peter Hall’s New York production of Troilus and Cressida.

The show will play at the same time as another LaBute premiere, Some Girls, to star David Schwimmer. That runs at the Gielgud Theatre beginning May 24 (previews begin May 12) and is scheduled until August 13.
