News Bening Orchard Dress, Chaperone Sketch and Curtains Tix Auctioned by CTG An original costume sketch for Broadway's The Drowsy Chaperone and Annette Bening's costume dress from The Cherry Orchard are among the items up for bid for Los Angeles' Center Theatre Group's nearly-complete auction.

The California stage has put up six items up for auction from past productions and offers for current shows which were, according to a CTG spokesperson, "most likely to be unusable for future productions.

The items which will end over the course of Aug. 11 are:

  • Tickets to a Dialogue with star David Hyde Pierce and the Aug. 22 Curtains performance
  • An evening with Culture Clash, dinner, four tickets to Water & Power and a Backstage Tour after the performance
  • Annette Bening's costume from The Cherry Orchard (designed by Catherine Zuber)
  • Original costume sketch from The Drowsy Chaperone (signed by designer Gregg Barnes)
  • 1951 BMW motorcycle from iWitness
  • Al Hirschfeld lithograph of CTG founder Gordon Davidson All the items are available through eBay.com or on missionfish.org under the seller name centertheatregroup.
