Mark Lamos directs the reading, which will take place Feb. 15 and 16 at the New 42nd Street Studios in New York. The musical, written by Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs, will also star Catherine Brunell as Lydia, Marilyn Caskey as Mrs. Bennet, Walter Charles as Mr. Bennet, Colin Donnell as Mr. Darcy, Sara Ford as Elizabeth Bennet, Jessica Grove as Jane Bennet, Jayne Paterson as Jane Austen and Aaron Tveit as Mr. Bingley.

The musical combines the world of the Bennet family in "Pride and Prejudice" with the world of Austen as she writes the novel.

The musical had a 2004 workshop at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and then world premiered in 2006 at the Ohio Light Opera.

Fred Lassen is the musical director of the reading. The producer is Lori Bajorek, and the executive producer is Donald C. Farber.

Among Bergen's Broadway credits is the role of Elizabeth Bennet in the 1959 musical First Impressions, which is also based on "Pride and Prejudice."

Reading is by invitation only. For more information call the office of the Charlotte Wilcox Company, the reading's general manager, at (212) 944-6586.
