News Berman and Pitkin's Fish Bowl to Swim Off-Broadway at Weller Theatre Jan. 7-22 Fish Bowl, a new dark comedy about reality television by Simona Berman and Andrew Thomas Pitkin, will debut at the Michael Weller Theatre Off-Broadway Jan. 7-22. Chris Henry will direct the I Ate What? Theatre Company production.

The large cast features Katie Apicella, Mike Borrelli, Jeff Edgerton, Simone Harrison, James Huffman, Pamela Stewart, Victor Verhaeghe, Shevaun Smythe-Hiler, Anna Farkas, Christine Poland, Reiko Yamanaka and Berman herself. In the play, according to press materials, "six contestants are chosen at random to compete for 11 million dollars on the new reality television show, 'Fish Bowl.' While they wait for the production team to arrive and give them instructions, panties are bunched, truths come out and murder becomes the name of the game."

I Ate What? Theatre Company is a new troupe that "produces new and original plays that integrate multi-media and dance. They are a collaborative group of artists whose mutual passion for absurdity has molded a unique theatrical vision, focusing on projects that seek to expose the ridiculous nature of humanity with urgency and biting comedy."
