At 8:40 PM ET, Lesley Ann Warren presented the Best Costume Design Award to Judith Dolan for her work in Candide. Here is Ms. Dolan's bio:
JUDITH DOLAN (Costume Design) designs costumes for theatre, opera, film, and TV. She has worked with Harold Prince on several productions, including the NYC Opera's Candide, Houston Grand Opera production of Carlisle Floyd's Willie Stark and Merrily We Roll Along on B'way. Her latest collaboration with Mr. Prince was The Petrified Prince at the Public for which she received the Lucille Lortel Award for Excellence in Costume Design and a Drama Desk nomination. Her film credits include Joseph Strick's A Portrait of the Artist as A Young Man, The Outsider and The Rosary Murders. Other theatrical credits include Andrei Servan's production of The Miser for American Repertory Theatre, Christholf Von Dohnanyi's interpretation of the Magic Flute for The Cleveland Orchestra and the original B'way production of Joseph.... Off-B'way she has designed for Hal Prince's Grandchild of Kings and Diamonds, Blitzein's The Cradle Will Rock directed by John Houseman, and Pericles directed by Toby Robertson. Her designs have been seen at numerous theatre companies in the U.S. and abroad including The Abbey Theatre, London's Old Vic, Theatre Clwyd in Wales, Cambridge Festival, Taormina Festival, Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Alley Theater and Folger Theatre. Recent work includes Julius Caesar for Shakespeare Theater in Washington D.C., and "The Courtyard" for Showtime.
