News Bette Midler and Carole Bayer Sager Set for 92Y Talk Before returning to Broadway in Hello, Dolly!, Bette Midler will appear at the 92Y for a special conversation in October.

Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Bette Midler, who will star in the upcoming Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly!, will appear at the 92Y October 17 in a special 7 PM conversation with Oscar and Grammy winner Carole Bayer Sager.

Sager, who co-wrote such songs as “Nobody Does It Better,” “Don’t Cry Out Loud” and the Broadway musical They’re Playing Our Song, has recently completed her memoir, also titled They’re Playing Our Song, which hits stores October 18.

The 92Y event promises a look back at Sager’s life and career.

Midler will star as Dolly Levi in the Jerry Herman musical Hello, Dolly!, which will begin Broadway previews March 15 at the Shubert Theatre.
