News Betty Buckley Arrives on DVD The eagerly awaited DVD and video of Betty Buckley's acclaimed concert at the Donmar Warehouse —"Stars and the Moon: Betty Buckley Live at the Donmar" — is now available for sale in major music stores across the country. Buckley's concert, which was recorded live at the intimate London theatre, was also preserved on CD, which was nominated for a Grammy Award earlier this year and just recently received a MAC Award nomination for Female Artist Recording of the Year. Buckley, a Tony winner for her role as Grizabella in the original Broadway company of Cats, is one of Broadway's finest performers, offering heartfelt performances in Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Triumph of Love, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776 and Promises, Promises. Also a TV ("Eight Is Enough") and film (Tender Mercies) star, the award-winning actress also devotes much of her time to concert appearances across the world. She is currently in rehearsals for The Studio Arena Theatre of Buffalo's production of Buffalo Gal, A. R. Gurney's latest play, which may head to New York City after its March 17-April 21 run.
