News Betty Buckley to Offer Master Classes in NYC and Texas; New CD, Feinstein's Gig, TV Appearance On the Horizon Tony Award winner and Olivier Award nominee Betty Buckley, who recently filmed an episode of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" — directed by brother Norman Buckley — will offer a four-day Song Interpretation, Scene and Monologue Workshop in Manhattan beginning July 25.

The workshop at The Jason Bennett Actor's Workshop will consist of four sessions, July 25-28. Classes will begin at 6:30 PM and continue to 11 PM.

The Tony winner, according to press notes, "will assist aspiring artists, educators and experienced performers in the craft of singing, acting and storytelling. Ms. Buckley shares her expertise and guides her students through a methodology that facilitates audience connection through songs and monologues. Her emotional connection to songs and audiences is renowned, and that very connection is at the heart of what Ms. Buckley imparts to her students."

The class welcomes auditors, at a reduced rate, who participate in all aspects of the class – including group exercises and work with partners – except the individual singing and monologue coaching by Buckley. The Texas native will also offer a special Summer Workshop of Song Interpretation and Scene Study beginning Aug. 1 at The Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth. Buckley's master classes will explore the art of singing, acting and storytelling. Classes begin at 6:30 PM and last four-five hours; an accompanist will be provided. And, the star of Cats and Sunset Boulevard will weave a spell around Manhattan audiences Oct. 4-29 when she debuts her newest concert act at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. The singing actress will also release her latest solo recording, "Ghostlight," which was produced by T Bone Burnett, in February 2012.
