Tony winner Betty Buckley, who will star in the upcoming national tour of the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!, will offer a five-day Song Interpretation & Monologue Intensive Workshop at the T. Schreiber Studio in Manhattan June 2–8.

Buckley will assist aspiring artists, educators, and experienced performers in the craft of singing, acting, and storytelling. The award-winning actor will guide students through a methodology that facilitates audience connection through songs and monologues.

Classes will be held June 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. An accompanist will be provided.

For further details and to apply to the workshop, prospective participants should contact T. Schreiber Studio at (212) 741-0209 or email

Buckley will also release her new live album, Hope—a mix of Americana, pop, rock, and standards—on Palmetto Records in physical, digital, and streaming formats June 8. She will celebrate the new recording with a return to Joe’s Pub, where the CD was recorded last fall. The June 5–9 concert engagement coincides with Buckley's debut opposite Dominic Cooper (The History Boys) as Madame L'Angelle on the AMC series Preacher, which begins its third season June 25.

Hope will first be available for sale at Buckley's concerts. Pre-order for the album is available here.

Betty Buckley offered acclaimed performances in Broadway's Sunset Boulevard, Carrie, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1776, Triumph of Love, and Promises, Promises. She won a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, and she starred on the London stage in Promises, Promises, Dear World, and Sunset Boulevard, earning an Olivier Award nomination for her work in the latter.
