News   Betty Buckley Will Offer Provincetown Concerts and Be Part of Carrie Talkback
Betty Buckley, who is currently drawing raves for her performance in the Bay Street Theater production of Grey Gardens, will go it solo in September in Provincetown.

The Tony-winning actress will perform in concert, accompanied by pianist and musical director Christian Jacob, Sept. 3-4 at 8 PM at the Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, a theatre company founded by Buckley's friend, actor Adam Berry and his partner Ben.

Buckley will also take part in a talkback following the Peregrine's Sept. 2 performance of the musical Carrie. The Tony winner famously created the role of Margaret White in the Broadway debut of Carrie, earning critical acclaim for her work.

The Peregrine season features the aforementioned Carrie, which continues through Sept. 9 as well as Blue Dusk: Gay Plays by Tennessee Williams, which continues through Sept. 18.

Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, according to the company's website, is a professional performing arts company "aiming to continue the tradition of quality theatre that has enriched the unique culture of Provincetown for decades. Our goal is to produce works that are developed through a dedicated artistic process and reflect a wide array of theatrical genres. We strive to cultivate and educate audiences of all ages through performance, workshops, and classes, and foster artistic relationships with other nonprofit organizations, resulting in increased sustainability for the Provincetown community."
