News Beyond Bollywood to Play Season at London Palladium Direct from Mumbai Beyond Bollywood is to receive its U.K. premiere at the London Palladium, beginning performances May 8 prior to an official opening May 11, for a run of 60 performances only that is booking through June 27. It comes to London direct from a season in Mumbai.

It is described in press materials as "a monsoon of emotion that brings the fire, heat and desire of Indian dance direct to the heart of London." In the quest of fulfilling her mother's dying wish Shaily Shergill leaves behind her home in Munich to journey India. Will her mother's dream turn into reality? The show is written, choreographed and directed by Rajeev Goswami, with lyrics by Irfan Siddiqui and featuring an original score by Salim-Sulaiman. 

Goswami, who has also had a successful career as a pop artist in India, has channeled 15 years' experience in the Indian film and music industry into the founding of RG Studios alongside lyricist Siddiqui. The latter's hit features include "Fashion, Kurbaan," " Iqbal," "Heroine," and his international work includes "High School Musical 1 & 2 (Hindi)," and "Camp Rock." Salim and Sulaiman have been composing music for over a decade, having scored for movies such as "Heroine," "Chak De! India," "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and "Fashion." They have also worked on a Bollywood remix for Lady Gaga’s "Born This Way."
