At 2 PM on June 8, Bill Heck and Nina Arianda are scheduled to be in two different places at the same time: in the Council Room in the Actors' Equity building to collect their Clarence Derwent Awards as 2010's "most promising" male and female performers, and at New World Stages six blocks away to get Theatre World Awards for "outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway debut performances" of the season.

A special limousine will whisk the couple from one career plateau to the other, but they will be sitting out the Tony competition June 13 since their performances — his in The Orphans' Home Cycle, hers in Venus in Fur — were given Off-Broadway and, thus, ineligible for Tony consideration.

At least they will have company on the dais at the 66th annual Theatre World Awards. Ten other newbies of the 2009-2010 season were singled out for honors.
